I’m excited that the Denver Magic Show has had 6 months of sold out shows. When I first started producing the show, I thought that we may have trouble filling the seats month after month. But, I’m happy I was wrong. The Denver community has really come out to support local magicians in Denver. I sincerely hope that you’ve enjoyed yourself, had a few laughs, and made some memories.
I’m also excited to see that many of the Mile High Magicians Society members attend the show to support their fellow magicians and to find inspiration. We always get great feedback after every show. This helps to further our goal of the Denver Magic Show which is to provide a venue where talented magicians can share their art with Colorado audiences.
If you haven’t yet had the chance to see the Denver Magic Show, it’s the first Monday of every month at the intimate Avenue Theater on 17th and Logan. The theater seats 54 audience members, but has room on the sides of the stage to seat 95 (which we’ve filled). The show starts at 7:30pm and runs until about 9:30 which is just in time to get to bed for work the next day. Doors open at 6:30pm so that attendees can get beer, wine, and snacks. Seating is also general admission, so many people come early to get the best seats.
Each show features 3 or 4 local Denver magicians who each bring their own unique style of performing to the stage. Many of these performers primarily entertain at corporate events and private parties, so audiences are excited to see them in a public show. I’m really excited to continue to bring quality and sophisticated magic to Denver. I would love to see you at our next Denver Magic Show!
