My journey continued this week with another walk-around mentalism show for Samsung and Verizon in Philadelphia. On Thursday morning, I woke up at 4:00am to catch my 6:00am flight. Due to the time change, I arrived in Philadelphia at 12:00pm for my 7:00pm show. My goal is to always try to book flights to arrive as early as possible to venues in case there are issues with flights. This way, if there was a problem, I can catch another flight and still make it to the show in time.
In this case, arriving early allowed me to explore the city and grab a bite to eat. I have been to Philadelphia in the past with my wife, but I enjoyed revisiting the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. I also met a magician performing on the street. We talked for about an hour as he scoped out a place to build a crowd in old town. The time passed quickly, and it was soon time for me to arrive at 6:30pm for my 7:00pm performance.
This show was the same as the last 4 shows that I performed for Samsung and Verizon. I performed walk-around mentalism as people arrived and socialized at the bar. Then after the breakout sessions where attendees learned about the Note 10, I performed again for the remainder of the evening. Everyone was very friendly and I had a blast entertaining everyone. You can tell the crowd loved the mentalism just by looking at their faces.

On Friday, I visited my friend Danny Archer who owns the Smoke and Mirrors Theater. They bring magicians and mentalists in from all over the world to perform in their intimate, 60 seat theater. They use my software company WellAttended to manage their box office. I was able to take a tour of the theater and meet with them to discuss how they use WellAttended to sell tickets.
