I always enjoy entertaining at corporate functions. One of favorite performances of 2019 was at a corporate luncheon in Boulder. I was invited to perform magic and mentalism for RFS Investments at River and Woods which is an upscale restaurant in Boulder. The luncheon had a fun atmosphere because it was held outside at the back of the restaurant under a tent. Luckily, the staff had heaters inside the tent which kept it nice and toasty. The organizer, Monique, put up beautiful Christmas displays and centerpieces that gave the space a magical feeling.
At the beginning of the event, I entertained with walk-around magic and mentalism as guests socialized. I entertained in small groups and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves and felt welcome. After lunch, I entertained with my 30 minute parlor show. The show included mind reading and the classics of magic like the cups and balls. This was the same show that I performed on Crystal Cruises.
