In August of 2017, I built crowds at a trade show for a large analytical laboratory instrument manufacturing company at ACS Fall 2017. After the convention, the company conducted a study to see how much I was able to increase the traffic and leads at their booth. They had me build crowds at ACS Fall 2017 and didn’t use my services at ACS Spring 2017.
Also, keep in mind that at ACS Fall 2017, there were 1,000 less attendees than at ACS Spring 2017 and it took place during the solar eclipse (people left the exhibitor hall for several hours to stare at the sky). Even with these obstacles, I was able to increase their ROI compared to the fall show.
Highlights from ACS Fall 2017 in Washington D.C.
- $1.5M in funnel to date
- 266 Conversations in the booth
- 125 Leads
- 142 New Contacts
- 193 New Email Opt Ins
COMPARED to ACS Spring 2017 in San Fran
- 37% increase in Marketing Responses (More in-booth conversations)
- 56% Increase in New Contacts (This increases awareness)
- 64% Increase in New Email Opt Ins (Important for email marketing campaigns)
- 20% Increase in Funnel Dollars (More money in your funnel)
This is what the exhibit organizer said about the presentations:
“Clearly your attention to engaging prospects after the short magic presentation was very effective. I watched how you welcomed people in and lead them to their area of interest.”
