My voyage with Crystal Cruises exceeded my expectations. Crystal Cruises lived up to their name of being the world’s best cruise line. The dining was a 5 star experience, the staff were all very friendly, and the service was top notch.
I brought along my wife and we loved exploring the six countries we visited. The highlights included visiting Design Museum Denmark, walking on the beach in Warnemünde, seeing Alvar Aalto’s studio and home in Finland, and visiting the old towns in Tallin and Stockholm. You can see a few selfies from the trip below.
Besides being a guest on the ship, I performed ten 30 minute shows over the ten day cruise. In each show, I performed close-up magic with little red balls, coins, and cards. I finished the show with the classic cups and balls.
Seating was limited to 25, but towards the end of the cruise the show became popular. So, we ended up filling the room with standing room only. Many of the people that came to my show were magic lovers, so I was grateful to perform in front of such a kind audience.
At first, I was worried that the rock of the ship may interfere with the magic. Luckily, we were docked or just leaving port for the majority of my shows. This meant that the seas were smooth and I didn’t have an issues. However, I did have to stop the show a few times for announcements. It was fun thinking up ways to continue despite the interruptions.
If you are looking for an unforgettable vacation, I highly recommend Crystal Cruises. I already have another voyage booked next year, so I may see you on the ship!
