Mindvention Keynote Speech on Marketing

One of the benefits of being a magician and mentalist is that I get to travel across the country to present my keynote speech on how to successfully market shows. You may not know this, but for the past 5 years I’ve operated a box office management company called WellAttended. Through my company, I’ve produced over 80 podcast episodes on marketing, written several ebooks, and hosted an online Summit with over 21 speakers. To date, I’ve helped artists and organizations sell over 2 million dollars in tickets for their events.

Through my experience in coaching businesses on how to be successful, I get invited to talk at various conventions. The video above was taken from Mindvention which is an annual convention in Las Vegas. There were 90 mentalists and mind readers in attendance with the goal to learn new marketing techniques.

The focus of this year’s convention was on how to produce and market theatre shows. Convention organizer Danny Archer brought in William to present on how to build an online following to increase ticket sales. Here is what Danny said about my presentation:

The Keynote Speech

In my hour long keynote, I taught the audience how to build an online following to increase their ticket sales. I customized my presentation for the mentalists, so my talk included secret techniques that they could use to enhance their shows. At the end of the workshop, the attendees were given a free ebook of the material so they could immediately start using the new marketing strategies.
