A SOLD OUT SUCCESS!
Our first Denver Magic Show was a huge success. With only two weeks to promote the show, we ended up having 60 people attend. The theater seats 50 which means we had to add an extra row of overflow seats. I’m proud to have performed with three other highly successful magicians that made up this 90 minute show.
Thanks again Denver for making our first show sold out! This wouldn’t have been possible without your support. So, thank you to everyone who came out to see live magic in Denver.
If you enjoyed the show, please spread the word that sophisticated magic can be seen every first Monday of the month at the Avenue Theater.
The Acts at the Denver Magic Show
The evening was filled with four 20 minute acts from Brandon K Parker, Shawn Preston, William Rader, and Gregg Tobo. Here are a few examples of what was performed:
Brandon K Parker made coins mysteriously travel from hand to hand and made the backs of playing cards change colors on his command.
Shawn Preston read minds and caught a dollar bill that was thrown into the air with chopsticks. He is a real ninja!
William Rader performed classics including magic with balls, cards, a ring and rope, and cups and balls.
Gregg Tobo found a card by stabbing a deck with a knife, performed the linking rings, and performed Nankin Tamasudare where he told a Japanese tale about a fisherman.
If you’d like to come see what the excitement is about, our next show is July 2nd at 7:30pm at the Avenue Theater. We will have three great magicians entertaining during the 90 minute show.
Stay tuned to learn about the line up!
