In October, I entertained at Habitat for Humanity’s 21st annual recognition banquet. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry working in partnership with God and the community to build decent, affordable housing, and to provide hope for responsible, hard-working, limited income families living in substandard conditions.
Habitat for Humanity needed an interactive show that would get more people to attend and to stay for the entire banquet. They asked me to entertain with my 30 minute mentalism show directly after dinner to get people excited about the rest of the evening. At the end of the night, I emceed a game with Emmy-nominated and national award-winning journalist Robin Marsh in which one lucky person won a flat screen TV. The banquet was a huge success!
Tonight was our 21st anniversary for our volunteer recognition event. It’s a way for our staff too say thank you and give back to the families, volunteers, and sponsors that help us out throughout the year. This year we wanted to do something fun and different rather than just a band, so we hired William Rader the modern mentalist. The show was very energetic and really got the people out of their chairs and on their feet. We had a great time and everyone really enjoyed it. It really topped the show.
